December 2011: Two gardens designed by Green Gecko Studios for the City of Holdfast Bay have won medals in the government category of the SA Sustainable Landscape Native Garden Awards 2011. The Civic Centre garden won gold and the Kingston Park Yurlo Wirra Garden (formerly the Carter House Native Garden) won a silver medal for the second year in a row. The European name is used with a Kaurna name:'Yurlo' means cliff and 'Wirra' means forest. February 2010: The Carter House Native Garden wins silver medal in the Sustainable Landscapes Native Garden Awards 2010.

Costs depend on the type of service you choose for your garden. You can choose from a one-off consultation, a garden refresh, or a complete redesign.Garden consultations start from $180 per hour. As a guide, costs for a scaled, labelled plan start at $1000.
